Leeds Tykes and Leeds Beckett University have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further develop rugby talent and career pathways for students. This formal agreement builds on a strong existing relationship, with many Leeds Beckett alumni already making a significant impact at the club.
From players like Tom Collins (Club Captain) and Kieran Davies, to key staff such as Jake Brady (player and General Manager), Peter Seabourne (Director of Rugby), Fiona Maynard (Lead Physiotherapist) and Charlie Venables (player and Strength & Conditioning coach, also with Leeds Rhinos), Leeds Beckett graduates continue to shape the future of Leeds Tykes.

The partnership also provides valuable work experience opportunities, with current Leeds Beckett students gaining hands-on experience in areas such as strength & conditioning, physiotherapy, and sports marketing. Looking ahead, this collaboration will expand further.
