Leeds Tykes is delighted to announce our first four players who have committed their future to the club for our 2024/25 campaign.
They are:
Kieran Davies
The National League 2 North full-back of the year made 15 appearances during the 2023/24 season, scoring 14 tries, 15 successes from the kicking tee and one outrageous drop-goal. Kieran also made The Rugby Paper’s dream team for the league.
On his re-signing, Kieran said: “I wear my heart on my sleeve and it’s no secret that the end of last season hurt. So re-signing was a no-brainer, next season is personal.”
Henry Macnab
Last season’s Young Player of the Season award also made 15 appearances in the last campaign. He was the Tykes top try scorer, touching down 19 times. Henry represented Yorkshire in this summer’s Bill Beaumont Senior Men’s County Championship, scoring a try in the finals.
Adam Brown
The hooker opened is Team Captain, scoring 6 tries in 22 appearances.
Adam explained: “I really enjoyed last season. What I enjoyed most was getting back on the pitch with all the lads again after spending the majority of the season before out injured.”
Chris Bell
Chris’s appearances were hampered by injury last season, he made 3 appearances in September. Chris made his presence felt though; as stadium announcer at our home matches.
Watch out for more announcements about retained players during the week.
