Leeds Tykes is delighted to announce our first four players who have committed their future to the club for the 2023/24 campaign.
They are:
Chris Bell
The second rower featured in 12 matches last season.
Tobi Ademakin
Tobi is moving from the front row to the back this season. Injury kept him out most of last season. He made 7 appearances, mainly before the festive break.
Jake Brady
The evergreen lock, only missed one match of the 2022/23 season. He continues to play alongside his General Manager duties.
Adam Brown
The hooker opened the Tykes’ try account in the first match of last season. Unfortunately, he was not able to add to his tally as he was out most of the season due to injury. Adam cannot wait to get back on the pitch with the lads.
On his re-signing, Chris said: “I re-signed because the project we are building at Tykes excites me and we are only in its infancy. The club has given me so much and being apart of such an amazing environment with great people made it a no brainier.
“I love the club and would never see myself anywhere but here. There’s a job to do and can’t wait to see where we get to this season and beyond…”
Tobi added: “Honestly, I’m excited as a lot of the core squad players have committed to continuing to fight to build the future of the cIub. I can’t wait to get on the pitch and do the club, my teammates and myself proud.”
Watch out for more announcements about retained players coming soon.
