Leeds Tykes is delighted to announce a third set of players who have committed their future to the club for the 2023/24 campaign.

Kit Keith
The 20-year-old scrum half made 20 appearances last season.

Harry Jukes
The winger scored 7 tries during his 16 appearances of the 2022/23 season.

James Magee
James spent much of last season on loan to Harrogate. He’s looking forward to pulling the Tykes’ shirt back on.

Charlie Venables
Charlie proved his versatility as a utility back appearing in all last season’s matches, scoring 78 points. He was awarded the Keith Howard Spirit of the Tykes award at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Ewan Laughton
The young scrum half made 17 appearances last season.

On his re-signing Kit said: “I’m ecstatic to re-sign for the Tykes as the 2022/23 season was my first outing.

“Ever since I was a youngster, watching Leeds Tykes, has always been enjoyable but actually staying on with the boys for the 2023/24 season will be great, as will trying to get back into National League 1.”

Harry added: “I’m looking forward to getting back to training and working with the new coaching team. I feel like our backline has a lot of potential waiting to be unlocked.

“Hopefully I will be a big part of that in the upcoming season and will contribute to the team by finishing some tries off.”

We’ll share news of more retained players soon and watch out for an interview with Charlie Venables.
